Sheriff's Office executive team sets key goals for 2025

Sheriff's Office Executive Staff

As we move through 2025, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is focusing on strengthening our team, improving operations, and better serving the community. These priorities are designed to guide our efforts for the remainder of the year.

Strengthening the Team and Collaboration
One of our main priorities is building stronger relationships and trust within the Sheriff’s Office. By improving teamwork across divisions and partnering with other agencies, we aim to work more effectively and tackle challenges together.

Innovation and Well-being
We’re committed to finding creative solutions for public safety while prioritizing the well-being of our staff. A healthy, supported team is essential for delivering the best service to the community.

Key Goals for 2025

  • Transparency: We will continue to strengthen the Use of Force Review Committee (UFRC) and update internal policies to ensure accountability and clarity.
  • Training and Efficiency: Enhancing training for all staff, especially leaders, is a priority. We’re also working to streamline processes for better efficiency.
  • Jail Reforms: Reducing overtime, filling vacancies, and increasing rehabilitative programs are key focuses in our Jail Reforms Division. We’ll also continue to ensure compliance with regulations and provide better services to those in our care.
  • Technology and Staffing: Our patrol divisions are focusing on using new technology, such as license plate readers and real-time crime centers, while optimizing staffing to improve safety and response times.

Looking Ahead
With these goals, the Sheriff’s Office is focused on improving teamwork, transparency, and efficiency. By continuing to innovate and support our staff, we are committed to providing excellent services and keeping Santa Clara County safe.
