Military Equipment Virtual Town Hall

Drones, armored vehicles, tear gas, and specialized firearms are all considered military equipment under California law. Each year, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office must submit a detailed Military Equipment Report outlining the use, purpose, cost, and expected lifespan of each item — all in accordance with our adopted Military Use Policy.
