Incarcerated man dies after medical emergency at Elmwood Correctional Facility. On Sunday, November 17, 2024, at approximately 8:46 p.m., deputies at the Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas were notified of an unresponsive 33-year-old man in one of the dorms. Deputies and medical staff immediately began CPR to provide life-saving assistance until emergency medical personnel arrived.
