The Sheriff’s Office: Committed to Community First
At the Sheriff’s Office, we prioritize a Community First approach. By fostering connections and building trusting, collaborative relationships, we can more effectively address community concerns, identify crime trends, and work proactively to prevent crime through transparency, actionable data, crime prevention, and directed enforcement.
Community engagement and support are essential to our success. We invite you to join us at our community events and share your thoughts on how we can better serve you. Together, we can create a safer, stronger community.
Sean's K9s 10th Annual Luau
Sean’s K9s is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing grants to law enforcement agencies to establish or maintain their K9 teams. To date, the organization has donated four canines to the Sheriff’s Office and are scheduled to donate several more within the next year. Sean’s K9s was started by Cheryl Walsh in honor of her fallen son, Army Specialist Sean Walsh, a military police K9 handler and former Sheriff’s Office Explorer Cadet who dreamed of becoming a peace officer.
