Mutual Aid Coordinator

The Mutual Aid Coordinator is responsible for receiving and disseminating aid requests from across the state pertaining to Law Enforcement Mutual Aid (LEMA), and non-criminal aid requests for missing individuals, rescuing those in distress, or locating the remains of the deceased with the use of Search and Rescue (SAR). The Mutual Aid Coordinator also oversees Search and Rescue (SAR) team. SAR is comprised of volunteers that will respond to aid requests both internally and as mutual aid. Additionally, the Mutual Aid Coordinator homeland security manage grants for the Sheriff’s Office for much needed equipment and training.
